Between high-variant plastic parts, trout fillet algorithms, ultra-fast bakery processes and awards – right in the middle of it all: US.

For robomotion, 2025 was a year of exciting automation projects across the food, bakery, plastics and medical technology industries. We were especially pleased to be confirmed and newly appointed as a system partner of ABB and MVTec.

There was also plenty of movement within our team: we welcomed new colleagues, bid farewell to others as they entered retirement, expanded our project portfolio – and remained what matters most to us: a strong team driving automation with reliability and heart.

2025 was not only a year of intense work, but also one in which we shared many special moments as a team.

Tackling challenges together – absolutely. But just as important: celebrating together, laughing together and experiencing something new together.

Highlights such as our summer party, the Christmas celebration and our shared weekend at AREA47 showed just how much energy and team spirit there is within robomotion.

One thing stood out across our projects in 2025: diversity – in products, processes and requirements.

• Medical technology: Packaging of high-variant plastic parts using fast delta robots, precise assembly processes and end-to-end quality control with traceability down to the cavity level.

• Food industry: Among other projects, an intelligent system that algorithmically combines trout fillets to achieve perfect 125 g portions.

• flexobot applications: Automated collector production from loading and overmolding through to optical quality inspection. Plus solutions for 100% inspection of injection-molded parts – Just the good ones – selected with precision.

• Bakery automation: Packaging of bread, cream injection for small baked goods, ultrasonic scoring of pretzel products and high-speed picking – automation as real, tangible relief for the baking trade.

These examples show just how broad automation has become today – and how much value is created when mechanics, electrics, software, vision systems and teamwork work seamlessly together.

Now we look ahead to 2026 with optimism – and with respect for the challenges ahead:
with fresh ideas for the bakery industry, exciting insights into machine vision and solutions that help make a little more possible, especially in demanding times.

In the coming year, we will continue to work closely with our customers and partners on projects that simplify processes, ensure quality and relieve workloads – reliable, practical and with an extra dose of the robomotion spirit.
