Summer greetings from robomotion – the robotics people! ☀️

It may still be summer, but we are already looking ahead to a busy trade fair season. In October, we will be exhibiting at two events serving industries that could hardly be more different: bakery production and plastics processing.

südback: bakersloop makes its trade fair debut

24–27 October 2026 | Stuttgart | Hall 10, Stand E51

This year marks our first time exhibiting at südback – and we will be demonstrating a module from our new bakersloop system live.

The task is straightforward: Freshly baked bread arrives directly from the oven conveyor. The robotic cell identifies different product variants, performs AI-based quality inspection, picks the loaves and places them into bakery baskets according to the required pattern.

With bakersloop, we want to use robotics where it can provide real relief in everyday bakery production. The modular system can be expanded to cover additional process steps such as scoring, finishing or palletizing.

The bakersloop system itself is new. Our experience in bakery automation is not. Our existing projects already include automated bread packaging with AI-based quality inspection, robotic scoring of pretzel products and automated cream finishing of pastries.

At Fakuma, we are on familiar ground. robomotion has been developing automation solutions for the plastics industry since 2010.

At the centre of our stand will be the flexobot – our compact, modular robotic cell for applications around the injection molding machine.
Depending on the application, flexobot can handle parts, perform assembly and quality inspection, sort products or take care of packaging. Application-specific grippers and modules adapt the standardised platform to the individual process.

Plastics automation in practice

Our projects show just how different these applications can be. flexobot solutions are used, for example, in automated commutator production at maxon and for 100% quality inspection of injection-moulded parts at medmix.

And where the task goes beyond a standardised robotic cell, we develop custom automation solutions – such as a fully automated system for part removal, assembly, inspection and packaging at medmix, or a complex 24/7 production system with more than 20 stations at Gindele.
